Nature’s Gold is a chicory farm and produces over 6 Million kilograms of chicory annually. Our sales are managed by BelOrta.
Every day there are 45 people together on both sites to get this job done. Our employees are a mixed crew of regulars and temporary workers, men and women, of all ages.

On our production site in Zundert we focus on chicory heads from 150 grams. On the production site in Langeweg we focus on chicory heads up to 150 grams. Nature’s Gold makes a various range of (small) packages: 5 kg boxes/ crates, 2,5 kg boxes, flowpack, flowpack with tray, trays with stretchfoil, etc., etc.
BelOrta ensures the supplies to various retailers, exporters, wholesale businesses and green grocer’s shops.

Annually 6 Million kilograms of chicory are produced.
With our solar panels the annual reduction of CO2 is over 220 tons.
The company is established by Peter and Anne-Marie van Dongen in 1986, with hydroponics cultivation.
Since 1986 the company has grown from 12 hectares of chicory roots to 220 hectares. In multiple phases the growing rooms are renovated and expanded as well as the storage capacity for the roots.
The last decade we’ve mainly invested in modernizing the company, to build a good foundation for our future, both on organizational and (growing) technical level. To be able to compete with other chicory growers and horticultural products in general, now and in the future, optimization of the production process continues to be an item with high priority.
